Antique Inkwells Charlie Mccarthy and Mortimer Snerd Number

Old matching set of Inkwells. One is Charlie Mccarthy and the other is Mortimer Snerd, both were made famous by the renowed ventriloquist Edgar Bergen during the 1930 to 1940 era. The set has its fair share of chips with several on Charlies hat and one on the bottom right hand corner. Mortimer is in better shape with only one chip on his hair above his left ear. Both have their original corks and are numbered on the bottom impressed. Nice find for the Collector of truly old celebrity items.

Piano Blue Eyed Baby Savings Bank Japan Mint

An unusual Piano baby that is a bit larger than most of the bisque ones you see. This one is more pottery than bisque as it has been handpainted and there is glaze around the diaper. Very cute. No chips or cracks, in general very good condition. The stopper on the bottom does show age and we did not try to remove it. There is a little silver foil stamp peeping out from underneath. We feel certain it was manufactured in Japan, but could be a surprise.
